A Parade of Color

A PARADE OF COLOR

Sunny Tucson, Arizona. This is where the Tucson Gem and Jewelry show takes place.  Visiting the show on their annual quest for unique and rare color were John; Lex Atencio, National Account Manager; Jennifer Bealer, Design Manager and CAD specialist; and Jessica Nash, our Merchandising Manager. The trip was successful in more than one aspect but most directly because color was chosen for new collections as well as for new Signature pieces.

Photographed here are Boulder opals and uniquely cut color chosen for one (or two) of John’s Signature collection pieces. These beautiful gems will be designed with the one of a kind look and sole existence for one of our art-conscious customers. Will that be a pendant, a ring, or earrings? Continue to watch our blog postings for updates on their progress from design, to production, to final finished piece!

The gem show is where the process begins for John. His eye for color and the inspiration for a single piece begins with perusing the many vendors on display at this venue. Many of the pieces we currently have in our inventory were designed around color chosen last year at this same show. A few of these unique pieces we have happen to fall in line with two celebratory events: Valentine’s Day and, for Coloradoans especially, the Super Bowl win of the Denver Broncos! Below is a heart-shaped, black onyx druse pendant accented with ruby and diamonds – perfect for your Valentine. If you’re proud of our football team, perhaps the citrine and blue topaz pendant is the perfect choice to show support while completing your wardrobe!

One thing for certain is new and one-of-a-kind pieces are soon to be available. In the meantime, you may view the Signature line on our website for current offerings. They are in constant motion as once one sells, of course, it is no longer available.
