John Atencio Refer a Friend Program Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: June 2025
The Refer a Friend Program (“Program”) rewards verified John Atencio customers for sharing a personalized referral code with friends and family who are new to John Atencio. By participating in our Refer a Friend program, you agree to the following terms:
1. Eligibility
The Program is open to verified John Atencio customers who have made at least one prior purchase. Referred individuals (“Referred Customers”) must be first-time customers who have never made a purchase from John Atencio, online or in-store.
Both the Referrer and Referred Customer must reside in the U.S. and be 18 years of age or older.
2. How It Works
Once registered, verified customers receive a personal referral code via email or text. This code may be shared with friends or family who have not previously shopped at John Atencio.
When the Referred Customer uses the code on their first purchase, they will receive 15% off their entire order.
The Referrer will receive a store credit equal to 3% of the Referred Customer’s purchase total (excluding tax and the 15% discount).
Credit will be issued to the customer’s John Atencio account 30 days after the purchase date, provided the order is not returned or canceled.
3. Reward Credits
Credits are non-transferable, not redeemable for cash, and may only be used by the Referrer. They may be applied toward future purchases online or in-store.
Credits cannot be used on prior purchases or combined with other offers unless stated.
4. Code Usage
Referral codes must be used at the time of checkout and cannot be applied retroactively. Each referral code is valid for one-time use per new customer. Only one referral code may be used per transaction.
5. Program Limits
Referral codes may not be posted on public coupon sites, forums, or deal-sharing platforms unless formally approved in writing by John Atencio in advance. The program is for personal sharing only. Self-referrals and the creation of fake or duplicate accounts are not permitted.
6. Returns & Cancellations
If a Referred Customer returns or cancels their purchase within the 30-day return window, the Referrer will not receive the credit.
Credits are issued only when the Referred Customer’s first purchase is completed and not returned.
7. Program Modifications
John Atencio reserves the right to change, suspend, or cancel the program at any time without prior notice. All eligibility and reward decisions are at the sole discretion of John Atencio and are final.
8. Privacy Participation
Participation in the Program is subject to the John Atencio Privacy Policy. Information collected is used solely for administering the Refer a Friend Program.
