About John Atencio

In a career spanning over four decades, John Atencio, a native of Colorado, is a talented artist, designer and jeweler known for his compelling and distinct designs and impeccable quality.

John began his journey with his first store in a small alley near CSU in Fort Collins in 1976. Now with five stores in Colorado, John infuses with his personal experience of the world – carefully hand-sketching each design and planning every detail before each piece is expertly crafted by skilled master artisans.

Simply said, a lifetime of experience informs each of John’s designs –reflecting the unmistakable artistry of a master craftsman. From his distinct architectural lines, to using more metal than other jewelers, John’s clean style brings form, function, beauty, and comfort. Using only recycled gold and responsibly sourced gemstones, each piece is expertly crafted with the finest materials to last a lifetime.
